# internal_error

Something went wrong on our side. What causes the BioFlow API's internal_error error (HTTP 500) and how to fix it.

## What causes it

- Something failed on BioFlow's side — the request may or may not have taken effect.

## How to fix it

- Retry safely: on consequential POSTs, reuse the SAME `Idempotency-Key` so the retry can't double-apply.
- If it persists, contact support@getbioflow.com and quote the `request_id` from the response.
